Amsterdam BeatClub

Amsterdam BeatClub (est. 2003, produced by Ir. Vendermeulen) is known for promoting the ultracool music of the fifties and sixties era. It is inspired by The Beat Generation Jazz, Alan Freed's 50's Big Beat, 60's Beat Culture and early tv shows like 'Beat Club' & 'The !!!! Beat'. Many clubnights and festivals are organized at different venues and apart from deejays & live-music the parties often feature Go-Go Dancers, Burlesque performers, sideshows and cult veejay-visuals.

Expect an un-Beat-able Cocktail of the very best Vintage Music!
Greasy Soul, Sleazy Rhythm ‘n Blues, Frantic Rock ‘n Roll, Swingin' Sixties Sounds, Mod-Jazz, Beat, Boogaloo, Twist à-GoGo, Garage Punk, FreakBeat, YéYé, Exotica, Finger Poppin' Popcorn, Ska, Surf, Big Band Jive and Cool Cover versions.

Los Intrusos (MEX, 60's garage punk)

Los Intrusos started in 2015 in the eastern area from the state of Mexico. They have a passion for primitive music, distorted sounds, broke down organ and lyrics that talk about the daily life of their homeland, throwing everything together in hi-energy shows. They've played their wild gigs, full of screams, lack of control and reckless lyrics, at many Mexican clubs and festivals. The band is influenced by garage bands such as The Nomads, The Mono Men, The Fuzztones, Lyres, among others from the proto-punk that emerged in the 60's and the underground wave of the 80's. They released a single titled "She will not return" and a full-length album titled "Delirium Tremens" which contained two other 45's: "Delirium Tremens" & "Nocturna".

Ugly Miss Piggy (Música Para Locos Records) are the hard-hitting and merciless Rock 'n' Roll Punk band featuring five heartless natives of Ixtapaluca, State of Mexico!! They are the Original Trash City Rockers that play violent music with an overload of lo-fi fuzz since 2009!!! The real Rock'n'roll Punk de México! Mischief!
Here's the latest about one of the hottest rockin' trios in Europe. Mischief! is one of the most refreshing bands on the Rockin' Scene. Their high-energy live shows are fantastic, and it's hard to believe that three musicians can produce such a full sound. These guys are not afraid to enjoy themselves. When you see them live, you know from the moment they hit the stage, and you see Daze swinging his guitar, that you're in for a good time! Add Richard's broad smile and Pat's obvious enthusiasm and you just know instinctively, that you're in for a treat! They'll jump around, share jokes with the audience and display an infectious sense of fun. They're not slaves to vintage, trying to recreate a period-perfect sound which would hold back their creativity. They play new and exciting music with a big dash of 50s energy. A large proportion of the songs are written by the band, producing modern classics that will undoubtedly stand the test of time. Listen carefully, and you'll hear shades of Charlie Feathers, Eddie Cochran and maybe even a little bit of The Everley Brothers on speed! Mischief! got more than its fair share of club-friendly boppers, jivers and strollers to keep the dance floor busy. It's great to have these wild cats from Utrecht back at Amsterdam BeatClub in De Nieuwe Anita, so come all over folks and have a rockin' good time!

To top things off, Richard's beautiful daughter Peggylee will fill the dancefloor with her cool record collection after the show!

The Hi-Stakes / Rhythm 'n Blues

Original tunes, with lyrics full of irony and passion, played authentically from a vast range of popular genres of the time, be it a lyrical blues ballad or an explosive old school rhythm 'n bluesnumber; in other words, their repertoire (entirely original) covers anything in between the jazz and the blues worlds.

The Mocks / 60's beat
Since the Mocks entered the scene, they have made an impact with their energetic live shows. The band has done succesful club tours and multiple international festival appearances. As the band started out with typical sixties beat appearances, they since have evolved into a powerful, more garage-oriented rock ‘n’ roll machine, and a force to be reckoned with.

The Skepticals / Mod Jazz
With a heavy organ, smooth sax, grooving guitar, fat bass & funky drums, The Skepticals play a mix of various styles: boogaloo, New Orleans, mod-jazz, spy-fi and rhythm 'n blues. The repertoire mostly consists of original compositions, in which sometimes the eerie theremin is used. This swinging quintet has the Skeps edge.. Sho 'Nuff!
